Ideas for Bucking Up

Here are some more ideas for Bucking Up:

1. Hold a meeting with your family, sports team, group, church, or club. Tell them about the issue of sex trafficking, the Buck Up Campaign, and ask them if they are willing to Buck Up for the survivors of this horrible crime.

2. Have a Buck Up BBQ. Get together, have some fun, great food, and charge your guests to attend as a Buck Up donation.

3. Ask a local school or business to put a jar, box, or 5-gallon water jug in a public area where people can give to this important cause. 

4. Play a game of poker, Frisbee golf, or capture the flag to raise funds for Buck Up. The reason for getting together is to become more aware, but also to become a part of the solution.

5. Rent or buy a video on sex trafficking, like Human Trafficking, Taken, Holly, Trade or something else – watch the movie and then let people know that you are Bucking Up to help Transitions Global develop a shelter to provide healing to victims of this horrible crime.

6. Hold a conference at school, your church, or at your local Starbucks to talk about the importance of being aware and the need to provide victims with services.

7. Do what you want to do…mobilize your friends to go out and Buck Up…
